vivo is getting ready to launch the S2. So far, official teasers have focused on its design, but tipster Sanju has shared the full spec sheet. The S2 packs some standout features and some clear trade-offs. At ₹40,000 to ₹45,000, vivo is targeting buyers who care about how a phone feels in the hand, battery life, and build quality, not just benchmarks or camera specs.
vivo confirmed the S2 will use a 3D curved AMOLED display and come in Silk White, Sapphire Blue, and Regal Bronze. The Silk White model is 8.10mm thick and weighs 199g. The Blue and Bronze versions are a bit slimmer and lighter at 7.99mm and 197g. Packing a 7,050mAh battery into a body this slim is impressive.
Battery and Durability steal the show
Sanju’s spec sheet, shared on X, gives us the complete picture of what the S2 might pack inside.
The 7,050mAh battery is much bigger than what you get in most slim mid-range phones. If this spec is accurate, you can expect up to two days of moderate use. The 44W fast charging will top up the battery quickly, though not as fast as some 2026 rivals.
The S2 stands out for its durability ratings: IP68 and IP69. IP68 means it can handle submersion in fresh water, and IP69 protects against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. You usually see this level of protection on rugged phones or premium flagships, not slim mid-range models. If these ratings are accurate, vivo is showing it wants the S2 to survive daily wear and tear without needing a bulky case.
Display, processor, cameras details are out
The leak points to a 6.83-inch 1.5K curved pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This matches vivo’s 3D curved AMOLED branding. The 1.5K resolution should give you sharp visuals without draining the battery too quickly.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo runs the show here, the same chip found in the vivo V70 FE and V60e. It handles daily tasks like messaging, browsing, and streaming without trouble, but gamers and heavy multitaskers will want more power. In this price range, rivals like the OnePlus Nord 6 are likely to offer faster processors.
The camera setup is basic. You get a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary lens, probably for depth or macro shots. The front camera is 32MP. There is no ultrawide or telephoto lens, so the S2 clearly puts style and battery life ahead of photography.

Positioning: offline-first, with an eye on design lovers
Sanju says the vivo S2 will focus on offline sales. This fits vivo’s usual approach: get the phone into stores so buyers can feel the slim build and curved display before buying. The box MRP of ₹66,999 is probably just a high anchor. Expect the real price to settle between ₹40,000 and ₹45,000 after discounts and offers, which is standard for offline sales.
This puts the S2 up against the OnePlus Nord 6 and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. Those phones have faster processors and cleaner software, but they cannot match the S2’s battery size or durability. If vivo delivers on its design promises, the S2 could appeal to young buyers who want a premium feel without paying flagship prices.
