The launch of an upcoming TVS electric scooter is drawing near, and the manufacturer has released a new teaser showcasing fresh design elements.

The latest teaser provides a glimpse of the upcoming e-scooter’s vertical headlight and sculpted apron panels, cleverly mirrored in the teaser. Additionally, the indicators are visible below them. Notably, the TVS Creon e-scooter concept was showcased at the Auto Expo in 2018, and the clues spotted in the teaser suggest that the upcoming e-scooter may be based on the Creon concept and could be an electric version of the TVS Ntorq 125, possibly named the Entorq.

TVS Electric Scooter Teaser

TVS shared the first teaser about a month ago, in which the vertical headlights of the upcoming scooter were visible. To refresh your memory, the Creon e-scooter concept had a very sporty design language with a twin-spar beam frame. It was powered by an 11.76kW motor that claimed to accelerate the e-scooter from 0 to 60 km/h in 5.1 seconds.

The TVS iQube currently serves the utilitarian electric scooter segment, offering practical features. However, the upcoming Entorq is expected to be a sportier e-scooter, ready to compete against models like the Ather 450X, Simple One, and the Ola S1 Pro. The much-awaited reveal of the production version is set for August 23, and enthusiasts can finally witness the realization of an exciting, sporty e-scooter they have been eagerly anticipating for the past five years.

On the other hand, TVS’ competitor, Ather, is gearing up to introduce its 450S electric scooter this month. Priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom), the scooter is expected to offer an impressive range of up to 115 km. Serving as the most affordable entry-level model in Ather’s portfolio, the Ather 450S comes with a 3 kWh battery pack, providing an IDC-certified range of 115 km on a single charge.
