Reliance Jio has launched the JioTag 2 in India, nearly three years after introducing the original JioTag. The biggest change this time is cross-platform compatibility, with the tracker supporting both Apple’s Find My network and Google’s Find Hub straight out of the box.

Unlike the JioTag Go, which was limited to Google’s ecosystem, the new model works across both Android and iOS devices. That puts it in direct competition with trackers like Apple’s AirTag and Samsung’s Galaxy SmartTag, while coming in at a significantly lower price.
JioTag 2 Hardware and Features
The JioTag 2 includes a 120dB built-in speaker for proximity alerts and locating misplaced items. It carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and comes with a refreshed design compared to the previous generation.

Jio claims the tracker can last for more than one year on a single battery.

Like other Bluetooth trackers, the JioTag 2 relies on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for nearby tracking. Once an item moves outside Bluetooth range, it uses Apple’s Find My network or Google’s Find Hub network to help locate it through nearby compatible devices.

The tracker does not require a SIM card or a recharge plan.
Price and Availability
The JioTag 2 is priced at ₹1,249, with select bank offers reducing the effective price to around ₹1,199. It is available through Amazon India in Black, Red, and Green color options.
