TicWatch Pro X Announced But No Wear OS3 At Launch

Mobvoi has unveiled TicWatch Pro X in China and unlike Fossils Gen 6 or Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series it doesn’t come running on Wear OS3 out of the box. Having said that, it is likly to receive Wear OS3 upgrade sometime in 2022.

TicWatch Pro X comes with many fitness and health-related features and a circular sports design. It has a Qualcomm processor and comes in a single Black color case with 2 strap options.

TicWatch Pro X Specs

The watch is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC and has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. It has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display and an FSTN LCD screen. It features more than 20 sports modes and health monitoring features like SpO2 monitor, heart rate monitor, sedentary reminders, etc. It has support for an E-SIM for 4G VOLTE calls. It has a pixel density of 326ppi with a 595mAh battery. The battery claims to last for 45 days on a single charge, while with an AMOLED display, it can last for 4 days.

The smartwatch also features TicMotion that detects a user’s physical activities and starts an appropriate workout mode automatically. It also has NFC support along with GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo. The watch has over 1000 faces and is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. It is compatible with Android 6.0 or IOS 14.0. It weighs around 41g and is 12,3mm thick with a 47mm dial.

TicWatch Pro X -Price and Availability

It is priced at CNY 2399 (Rs. 27,700) in China and will be available to purchase from October 11. The pre-order price for the watch is CNY 1999 (Rs.23000) and it can be ordered through TicWatch’s official store and JD.com. It is available in a single color with 2 strap colors- Black and Brown.

At present, there is no word on whether the company will launch this smartwatch in other markets outside China in the future.
