About a month since its global debut, Mobvoi has launched its high-end smartwatch — the TicWatch Pro 3. It comes carrying the latest Snapdragon 4100 chip and a promise of improved performance and battery life. On paper, the claim is up to 45 days on something called “Essential mode”.
The slate of features also comprises of things like an AMOLED panel, trackers for heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, etc.

The underlining factor is the underlying Snapdragon 4100 processor. This one is a big update from Qualcomm and as per the chip giant, 4100 should deliver 85% CPU and memory gain, 2.5 times snappier graphics while consuming 25% less power than the 3100.

The internals constitutes of 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and a larger 577mAh battery. This boasts up to 45 days of endurance on “Essential Mode”. This is achieved by limiting to its low-power always-on FSTN display, and basic features such as heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep monitoring. Else in the so-called “Smart Mode”, all the features are fired up and the AMOLED display is also pushing colorful pixels.

- TicExercise with over 10 workout modes including pool swimming, rowing, elliptical, mountain climbing, trail running, and aerobics. The company extols the watch’s ability to automatically detect which exercise you’re doing.
Being a Wear OS watch, you get Googley delicacies such as Google Pay and Google Assistant. Among other things, you also get IP68 water resistance.
