Last month, Sony announced its three smartphones – Xperia XA2, Xperia XA2 Ultra and Xperia L2, at CES 2018. While the launch of the first two smartphones is still awaited, the South Korean major has made the Xperia L2 available in India.
The handset is the entry-level phone targeted towards the increasing selfie needs of the masses.

Sony Xperia L2 Features
The handset comes clad in Sony’s trademark Boxy design with sharp corners and visibly thick bezels surrounding the display.
The Xperia L2 sports 5.5-inch widescreen HD display at 16:9 screen aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek MT6737T processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The latter is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

The Selfie-focused Xperia L2 offers an 8MP sensor with 120-degree wide-angle lens for group selfies. The camera can also click images with blurred background via portrait mode. Whereas the phone’s primary camera has a 13MP sensor.
The handset comes running on Android Nougat out of the box and houses a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support. It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, just below the camera.
In terms of connectivity, the Xperia L2 includes 4G VoLTE, GPS, WiFi Miracast, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
Sony Xperia L2 Price and Availability
The Sony Xperia L2 has been best priced in India at Rs 19,990. The phone is available in two color options – black and gold – and will go on sale from February 5th onwards.
At this price point, the Xperia L2 will compete against the likes of Moto X4, Honor 9i, and Vivo V7+ in the Indian market.
