 September has arrived, and we are preparing for the debut of several new smartphones. The excitement is on a high around the tech world as this month will see the launch of the annual Apple iPhone 16 series. Additionally, Motorola is set to unveil its Razr 50, which will serve as a more budget-friendly option compared to the Razr 50 Ultra model. Furthermore, the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is also expected to be announced this month. In light of this, we present a comprehensive list of the top ten smartphones expected to be released in September 2024, including their anticipated specifications, price, and more.

1. Apple iPhone 16 Series

Launch Date- 9th September

Pricing (expected)- The Vanilla model iPhone 16 is expected to be priced at around Rs. 67,000 while the iPhone 16 Plus might cost around Rs. 75,000. The iPhone 16 Pro will be priced at around Rs. 92,000 while the top-end iPhone 16 Pro Plus variant is expected to cost around Rs. 1,00,600.

iPhone 16 & iPhone 16 Plus

iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to be powered by a Bionic A18 chipset with up to 512GB storage. These two iPhones are said to sport a 48MP primary and a 12MP ultrawide camera at the back. iPhone 16 might feature a 6.1-inch XDR OLED panel while the iPhone 16 Plus might sport a 6.7-inch XDR OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, iPhone 16 could pack a 3561mAh battery while iPhone 16 is expected to have a 4006mAh battery.

iPhone 16 Pro & iPhone 16 Pro Max

iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are tipped to be powered by a Bionic A18 Pro chipset with up to 1TB onboard storage. These pro models are expected to have a 48MP ultrawide, 48MP primary, and a 5x telephoto lens at the back. iPhone 16 Pro is said to sport a 6.3-inch XDR OLED panel while iPhone 16 Pro Max might get a 6.9-inch screen. In terms of battery, the iPhone 16 Pro might have a 3355mAh powerhouse while the top-end iPhone 16 Pro Max might pack a 4676mAh battery.

2. Motorola Razr 50

Launch date- 9th September

Motorola is launching the Moto Razr 50 on the same day as the iPhone 16 Series. In China Moto Razr 50 costs around Rs. 43,740 so India’s price will also be along similar lines. The Moto Razr 50 will have a 6.9-inch foldable FHD+ P-OLED screen with Dolby Vision and a 120Hz refresh rate. There is also a 3.6-inch cover display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The flip phone will be powered by a Dimensity 7300X chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The foldable runs Android 14 and packs a 4200mAh powerhouse with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. At the back, it will have a 50MP main and 13MP ultrawide cameras for photography. There will also be a 32MP snapper at the front for selfies.

3. Vivo T3 Ultra

Launch date- September 2024

Vivo is all set to expand its T3 lineup even more by launching the Vivo T3 Ultra smartphone in September 2024. The launch date hasn’t been confirmed but the device has been spotted on certification websites hinting towards an imminent launch. It is expected to be powered by Dimensity 9200+ chipset and sports a 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display. It is said to have a Sony IMX921 sensor at the back with OIS and also features an IP68 rating for water resistance.

4. Infinix Hot 50 5G

Launch date- 5th September

Infinix is all set to launch the Infinix Hot 50 5G smartphone which will be the successor to the Infinix Hot 40 that came out in 2024. Infinix Hot 50 will be powered by Dimensity 6300 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. It will sport a 6.7-inch Punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an interactive dynamic bar. There will be a 48MP main sensor at the back and an 8MP sensor at the front. Under the hood will be a 5000mAh battery with 18W wired charging. It will be IP54-rated and 7.8mm slim. The device will run Android 14 and include AI features like AI Charge Protect, AI Wallpaper Generator, and more.

5. Samsung Galaxy S24 FE

Launch date- September 2024

The Fan Edition of the Galaxy S24 smartphone is expected to arrive in September 2024. Samsung Galaxy S24 FE was recently seen on a certification platform wherein its live image was also shared. It might sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and be powered by Exynos 2400 chipset. At the back might be a 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide and 8MP telephoto cameras. There might also be a 32MP selfie snapper at the front. Under the hood, it is said to pack a 5000mAh powerhouse with 25W charging speed. Samsung is expected to offer up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage with this one.

6. Realme Narzo 70 Turbo

Launch date- 9th September 2024

Realme is all set to launch a new smartphone in Narzo 70 Series. The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo is coming to India on September 9. It will be powered by Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset and be a performance-oriented device drawing inspiration from motorsports. It will have a yellow vertical stripe design housing the camera module. At the front will be a flat display with sleek bezels. Narzo 70 Turbo is expected to come in four storage options- 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB. There will be an 8MP selfie sensor with EIS and a 50MP main camera at the back. Realme Narzo 70 Turbo will come in yellow, green, and purple colors.

7. Tecno Phantom V2 Fold & V2 Flip

Launch date- September 2024

The Tecno Phantom V2 Fold is expected to be powered by Dimensity 9000+ chipset and sport 50MP triple cameras at the back. Display details aren’t revealed yet but its pricing is expected to be around Rs. 88,000.

Tecno Phantom V2 Flip might come with a 6.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen and a 1.32-inch cover display. It is said to be powered by Dimensity 8020 chipset and has a 64MP main camera at the back. Along with the main camera, there will be a 13MP secondary sensor as well. At the front will be a 32MP sensor for selfies and under the hood will be a 4000mAh battery. Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 might cost around Rs. 52,000.

8. Realme P2 Pro

Launch date- September 2024

Earlier this year, Realme launched the Realme P1 and Realme P1 Pro. Now, the brand is gearing up to roll out the Realme P2 Pro in India. The device was recently seen on the BIS platform which indicates an imminent launch. Reports claim Realme P2 Pro will have up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Realme P2 Pro is expected to arrive in Chameleon Green and Eagle Grey colors. The pricing is expected to be under 20,000 making it a competition for devices like Poco X6.

9. Vivo V40e

Launch date- September 2024

Vivo is all set to add a third member to its Vivo V40 Series this month. Vivo V40e 5G is expected to go official in September and will share some specs with Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro. The Vivo V40e is tipped to pack a 5500mAh battery and attract users who want a long battery life without compromising performance. It will have an artistic design.

10. Redmi Note 14 5G

Launch date- September 2024 (in China)

Redmi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 14 5G Series in China this month. In India, the series will arrive in January 2025. Redmi Note 14 was seen on the US FCC platform and Chinese radio certification website recently. Reports claim that it will run HyperOS 1.0 and come with connectivity options like 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and more. It might have 33W wired fast charging and sport a 50MP camera setup at the back. In terms of display, it is expected to have a 1.5K AMOLED screen at the front with a 120Hz refresh rate. Redmi Note 14 5G is said to be powered by Dimensity 6100+ chipset.
