The launch event date for the iPhone 15 series appears to have surfaced, although we are still awaiting official confirmation from Apple. Traditionally, the Cupertino-based tech giant introduces its new iPhones in September, and this year might follow suit despite some reports hinting at possible delays. According to a recent report, the iPhone 15 event is rumored to be scheduled for September 13th.

Apple iPhone 15 Launch Date

Mobile carriers in the US are advising their employees not to take a day off on September 13th due to a significant smartphone announcement, as per the 9to5Mac report. While the specific smartphone brand remains unknown, there is speculation that it could be Apple, considering the usual launch timeline for iPhones. It’s worth noting that Apple typically holds its events on Tuesdays, and September 13th falls on a Wednesday this year. However, it is worth mentioning that last year’s iPhone event also took place on a Wednesday. As of now, all of this information is based on speculation, and Apple has not made any official announcements regarding the event.

Recent reports indicate that Apple may encounter possible delays in launching the new iPhones. The company is said to be facing some issues that could potentially push the launch to the fourth quarter, which spans from October to December. Additionally, there are speculations that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models might be available in limited quantities upon their release.

However, conflicting information comes from another report by The Information, suggesting that the September launch will proceed as scheduled, but there could be shortages of iPhone units available at that time.

Apple iPhone 15 Expected Specifications

As with any pre-launch rumors and reports, it’s important to note that the situation is subject to change until Apple makes an official announcement regarding the iPhone 15 series launch and availability.

With the launch of the new iPhones just around the corner, Apple is expected to reveal more information soon. The upcoming iPhone lineup is anticipated to include four models: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Beyond the usual incremental upgrades, the new iPhones are set to introduce significant changes. Notably, they will feature USB-C ports, a first for iPhones, potentially offering faster charging and data transfer capabilities.

Another interesting change is the replacement of the traditional mute switch with a new ‘Action’ button. This button can be customized by users to perform different tasks, offering greater flexibility and personalization options.
