Stree 3 Movie: Release Timeline
While an official release date hasn’t been announced, Dinesh Vijan has confirmed that the script for Stree 3 is complete. This suggests a shorter wait than the six years between the first two films. Speculations suggest a possible 2026 release.
The climax of Stree 2 revealed that Shraddha Kapoor’s character is Stree’s daughter, seeking revenge. With her mission accomplished, she vanishes, leaving Vicky heartbroken. While the return of the core cast, including Rajkummar Rao, is expected, Shraddha Kapoor’s return remains uncertain.
The post-credits scene of Stree 2 hints at Akshay Kumar’s character as the potential new villain in Stree 3, setting the stage for a thrilling new chapter.
Stree 3 Movie: New Villain
In Stree 2 Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar made a surprise cameo as the descendant of Stree 2’s villain Sarkata. While his entry indicates that Vicky and his friends are on the right path to defeat Sarkata, there is a post-credits scene that hints towards him being the new supervillain. In the scene, Akshay’s character gets Sarkata’s remains and absorbs his soul to become an even more powerful being. The story of Stree 3 might revolve around other characters teaming up to defeat Sarakata’s protégé.

Stree 3 Movie: Will it be connected to the Vampire movie in Maddock’s Horror Comedy Universe?
It seems Maddock has plans to expand the Horror Comedy Universe a lot more before Stree 3 hits the screens. Stree 2 has a mid-credits scene wherein Bhediya aka Varun Dhawan talks about a blood-sucking vampire in Delhi. This is a direct hint towards Ayushman Khurana’s Vampires of Vijay Nagar which will be helmed by Munjya fame Aditya Saptodar and stars Rashmika Mandana as well. Since Stree 3 might get a 2026 release, this one will hit the theatres in 2025. How Ayushman’s role will be connected to Stree 3 remains to be seen.
Stree 3 Movie: Cast
Stree 2’s climax revealed how Shraddha Kapoor was Stree’s daughter who wanted to avenge her mother’s death and used Vicky’s help to do so. After her revenge is completed, she vanishes into thin air leaving Vicky heartbroken. While Vicky, Jana, Rudra Bhaiya, and Bittu will most certainly be back in Stree 3, whether Shraddha’s character will be back or not is still unclear. However, considering the kind of buzz Stree Movies make due to Shraddha’s name and face, her chances of coming back are strong.
