This is where I spent most of my time with the H12 Dual FlexReach. It can vacuum and mop the floor in a single pass.
Dreame claims 23,000Pa of suction, paired with a 180-degree lie-flat design. The multi-surface brush has white LED lights that help spot fine dust and debris, especially along skirting boards. I could slide the vacuum body into spaces as low as 14cm, and the brush head goes down to 9.6cm. I could lower the whole machine and push it under beds and sofas without moving them.
I tried it on the usual combination of dust, crumbs, and everyday household dirt, and the H12 handled the job without much drama.
Even at 5.4kg, the cleaner was not hard to maneuver for regular floor cleaning. The rollers glide smoothly, and I did not have to fight the weight. The TangleCut Resilient Scraper works as promised. I never had hair-wrap issues during my three weeks of use, which is a real problem on less well-designed wet-dry vacuums.

Pet hair was not a problem. The H12 picked it up easily during regular floor cleaning and with the dry-vacuum attachment on upholstery. The roller brush’s anti-tangle design worked well. I never had to stop and clear the brush, which has been an issue with other cleaners I have used.

In my testing across about 1,870 sq ft, I emptied the dirty-water tank three or four times and refilled the fresh-water tank twice. That is reasonable for a space this size. Compared with manual mopping, the H12 used water more efficiently. If you have a large home, keep the tank capacity in mind. You will spend some time walking back to the machine to empty dirty water and refill the fresh-water tank.

No matter how smart a vacuum cleaner gets, someone still has to clean it. The H12 Dual FlexReach is no exception.
You need to empty the dirty-water tank, clean the rollers, and check the filters and other parts from time to time.
Thankfully, Dreame has automated some of the unpleasant parts. The H12 can run a self-cleaning cycle using water heated up to 90°C, followed by heated-air drying. There are two drying options: a 5-minute quick dry for everyday use and a 30-minute deep-dry cycle for heavier cleaning sessions. The idea is simple: the machine cleans the roller and internal components, then dries them so moisture, odors, and bacteria don’t linger.
After regular use, this makes a real difference. I liked not having to wash the roller and leave it out to dry after every session.

The Dyson cleaner feels much lighter and easier to use one-handed. Its laser dust detection and LCD particle counter are genuinely useful. The 2-year warranty also beats Dreame’s 1-year term.
But the Dyson is really a stick vacuum that also mops. It doesn’t have a separate module for sofas, mattresses, or ceiling corners like the H12. In my testing, that made the Dreame the more complete all-in-one, and it costs about Rs 11,000 less.
