The month of November has just 2 days left and though it will be the last month of the year, December 2022 is expected to be packed with some major smartphone launches from bands like Xiaomi, Realme, iQOO, Moto, and more. The brands have been announcing the launch dates of their next smartphone series which are coming to the home country China first hinting at the India launch taking place at the end of December of January 2023 in India. 1. iQOO 11 Series
Launch Date- 2nd December 2022
iQOO is all set to launch its next flagship series named the iqoo 11 Series in December 2022. The brand has confirmed that the series will launch on the 2nd of December in China and Malaysia. The lineup is expected to have 2-3 smartphones- iQOO 11, iQOO 11 Pro, and iQOO 11 Legend. The series will have a motorsport-inspired design and come with a triple camera setup and a Vivo V2 image signal processor. The smartphones in this series will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
2. Realme 10 Pro Series
Launch Date- 8th December 2022
Realme will be launching its next Pro Series in India. Earlier it was said that the Realme 10 Number series will be launched first, but the company had some different plans as they announced the launch of the next Pro Series in the country. The Realme 10 Pro series will consist of 2 smartphones- Realme 10 Pro 5G & Realme 10 Pro+ 5G.
The devices have already been launched in China so we know about the specs. The phones have a 120Hz refresh rate, 5000mAh battery, 5G chipsets, and more. The Realme 10 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 695 chipset whereas the Realme 10 Pro+ is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. 3. Tecno Phantom X2 Series
Launch Date- 7th December 2022
Tecno will launch the Phantom X2 Series in Dubai in the first week of December. The brand itself announced the launch date during a webinar organized by Counterpoint Research in London. The Phantom X2 Series will have Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro models. Smartphones are expected to have better cameras and powerful performance. They are said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.
4. Infinix Hot 20 5G Series
Launch Date- 1 December 2022
Infinix has confirmed that it will launch the Hot 20 series in India in December. The series will have Hot 20 5G and Hot 20 Play smartphones. The global model of the Hot 20 5G has already launched which comes with MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset, 120Hz refresh rate, 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage. There is a 50MP primary, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
5. Vivo X90 Series
Launch Date- End of December
Vivo recently launched the X90 Series in its home country China and speculations are rife that the series will soon be coming to India as well. The Series consists of Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro Plus and might arrive in India towards the end of December.

6. Xiaomi 13 Series
Launch Date- 1 December 2022
Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch the Xiaomi 13 series in China in December 2022. The series is expected to consist of Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, both having center-aligned hole punch cutouts on the display and a triple rear camera at the back. The Xiaomi 13 Pro might have a 6.7-inch LTPO display and be powered by Snapdragon 8 gen 2 chipsets. It might pack a 4800mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
7. iQOO Neo 7 SE
Launch Date- 2nd December
iQOO will launch the iqoo Neo 7 SE alongside the iQOO 11 series that is launching in China. It will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset and sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will pack a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
8. Moto X40
Launch Date- Mid-December
Moto is expected to launch the Moto X40 smartphone in China next month. The smartphone is said to have a 6.67-inch OLED display with curved edges on all 4 sides. It comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner and runs MY UI 5.0 based on Android 13. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with up to 18GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It might have a 60MP selfie lens at the front and a 50MP+50MP+12MP camera setup at the back.
9. OnePlus 11
Launch Date- 2nd or 3rd week of December
OnePlus will launch the successor to the OnePlus 10 series in the form of the OnePlus 11 which will arrive in China in December. It has been confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to have a triple camera setup at the back that might include a 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, and a 32MP telephoto lens. The front will have a 32MP selfie camera. Tipster Max Jambor has claimed that the OnePlus 11 will come in Volcano Black and Emerald Forest colors.
10. Redmi Note 12 Series
Launch date- mid-December 2022
Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 12 series in China in October 2022. Now, the series is expected to come to India in December 2022. Speculations are rife that the Redmi Note 12 pro+ will come to India under the name of Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge. According to reports, it will be the successor to the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge that came to India earlier this year. Along with 12i HyperCharge, there will be more models of the Note 12 Series that will come to India.
The Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge is expected to have a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone is said to have a triple camera setup at the back with a 200MP primary, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens for photography. The smartphone will juice up by a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
11. Oppo Reno 9 Series
Launch Date- December 2022
Oppo has recently launched the Reno 9 Series in its home country China and the global launch is expected very soon. There are reports that the India launch will be alongside the global launch. The Oppo Reno 9 Series consists of Oppo Reno 9, Oppo Reno 9 Pro, and the Oppo Reno 9 Pro+. While the top model is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset the other two are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G and MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max chipsets for Reno 9 and Reno 9 pro respectively. 12. Redmi K60 Series
Launch Date- Rumoured as of now
Redmi seems to be working on one more series, the successor to the K50 Series. The Redmi K60 Series is expected to have vanilla K60, K60 Pro, and K60E models that are codenamed Socrates, Mondrian, and Rembrandt respectively. The K60 Series is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and MediaTek chipsets respectively. A report by 91Mobiles claims that the K60 will sport a 6.67-inch display that gives 2k resolution. In terms of camera, the K60 might come with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64MP primary sensor that supports OIS along with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. It will run MIUI 14 out of the box.
