Samsung Galaxy J2 Core (SM-J260G) Specifications

According to the rumor mill, the mysterious Samsung device can be Galaxy J2 Core, priced lower than its recently announced compatriot Galaxy J2 Pro (2018).

As per the GeekBench listing, the Samsung SM-J260G features 1GB of RAM and Exynos 7570 quad-core chipset. The said specifications clearly hint at the device to have tweaked Android Go running, instead of the standard Android Oreo. But it’s nevertheless fascinating to say Samsung and stock Android in the same breath.

The Android Go is actually a trimmed version of Android Oreo, launched last year by Google. The software is specifically designed to deliver an optimized Android experience on devices with entry-grade specs. Nokia 1, Lava Z50, and Alcatel 1X are some of the devices that run on Android Go OS out of the box.

However, nothing can be said about the device for sure right now as the South Korean firm Samsung is yet to give a confirmation on this.
