HMD Global’s new entry-level phone, Nokia 1 with Google’s ambitious Android (Oreo) Go Edition will be available for sale in India from March 28 onwards. The phone was first announced at MWC 2018 in Barcelona, in February. (हिंदी में पढ़िए)
The Nokia 1 is targeted at the first time smartphone users who are shifting their base from feature phones. The phone has humble hardware mated with Google’s latest OS and runs on the trimmed down version of Google’s latest software to offer users all the features expected from a quality smartphone.

Nokia 1 Features
The Nokia 1 is a compact phone designed entirely out of plastic and has smooth matte finish at the back. It is 9.5mm thick and sport huge bezels, which seems archaic as of today, on the front.
As for its specification, the Nokia 1 boasts a 4.5-inch FWVGA display (480 x 854) and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M SoC, coupled with 1GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8GB of storage.
The phone is aided by 2150mAh removable battery, which the company claims to offer the standby time of 15 days. Other features of the Nokia 1 include 5MP camera, 2MP front camera, 128GB microSD card support, and connectivity option like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Nokia 1 Price, Availability, and Offers
HMD Global has priced Nokia 1 at Rs. 5,499 in India and it will be available in two-color options: warm red and dark blue. Consumers can customize the look of their Nokia 1 with Xpress On covers that will be available separately starting April 2018 at an MRP of Rs. 450/- only.
