Samsung is planning to launch its next wearable, Galaxy Watch 6 Series this year. The Series will include Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The watch series will launch alongside the next generation of foldables by the brand, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. The Watch 6 Series is expected to come with improved health features and more workout updates. Latest reports claim that the Galaxy Watch 6 Series will be powered by a faster Exynos chipset.

Galaxy Watch 6 Series

A report by Sam Mobile claims that the Galaxy Watch 6 Series will be powered by a new Exynos W980 chipset. It will be 10% faster than the Exynos W920 SoC that came in Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series. Samsung is expected to fabricate this new chipset with a newer 5nm process so it might give a better battery life.

These include a circular OLED touchscreen, ECG, GPS, heart rate sensor, health and fitness tracking, sleep tracking, and body composition analysis. There will be WiFi, cellular connectivity, NFC, Wireless charging, and wear OS Based One UI software as well.

More will be known about the features as things become official later in the year.
