Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite with 48MP triple cam setup launched in India at Rs. 39,999

Today, Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 Lite in India. The phone as the name indicates is a washed down variant from the Galaxy S10 series. The brand vaunts a “pro-grade” camera with hardware-enabled Super Steady OIS. It brings the Snapdragon 855, which still holds up well in 2020. There is a single 8+128GB memory configuration.

The debut was earlier this month. But if the price and availability details were missing back then, we have them now. So, let’s not waste any time and have a look.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Price and Availability

The phone comes in a solo 8GB RAM plus 128GB ROM model, priced at Rs. 39,999. You can choose between Prism White, Prism Black, and Prism Blue colors.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite pre-ordering will start from 2 pm today and the sale will begin starting February 4 via Flipkart, Samsung.com, and major offline outlets.

As introductory offers, there’s a pre-booking promotion wherein the buyer can get a one-time screen replacement at Rs. 1,999. Besides, you will also be eligible for a cashback of Rs. 3,000 on payments made via ICICI Bank credit cards.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Announced

Prior to the Samsung Galaxy S11 unveil this coming February, the South Korean giant has announced the S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite. Well, at this point, it might not even be a surprise. These are the trimmed-down variant of the originals from last year. Thus the lite suffix.

Besides the specs improvement, they bring about new camera tricks. So, c’mon let’s have a look.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite specs

Samsung is using a 7nm 64-bit Octa-core Snapdragon 855 processor, although the name is kept under wraps. It ships in an 8GB of RAM plus a 128GB storage combination. There is Android 10-based One UI 2.0 on top.

Coming to the surface, the display measures 6.7-inches with FHD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It’s a Super AMOLED panel with a hole punch for the 32MP selfie camera.

To the back, there’s a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP main (OIS), a 12MP ultrawide snapper and a 5MP macro lens. Now the new camera trick is called Super Steady OIS, which will supposedly offset any motion or jitters and thereby enhance the stabilization.

Samsung has stowed in a 4,500mAh battery. The charger capacity is not mentioned. , the device will arrive in Prism White, Prism Black, and Prism Blue colors.
