Samsung Galaxy On Max Launched At 16,990 INR

Update (July 7, 2017): Samsung Galaxy On Max is now official in India and is priced at Rs. 16,990.

Samsung will soon launch another mid-range handset the Galaxy On Max exclusively on Flipkart. As is evident from Flipkart’s promotional banner, the Galaxy On Max will stick to the new J-series ethos (as established by the recently introduced J7 Max and J7 Pro), and focuses on an engaging camera experience.(हिंदी में पढ़ें)

Samsung’s new Social Camera, that borrows smarts from Galaxy S8/S8+ camera, will be present on the new Galaxy On Max. That is to say, the new camera app will allows users to add real-time filters and stickers and to directly share enhanced images to social networks.

The software on the phone is likely to be same as on new J-series phones, that’s Android Nougat based TouchWiz that borrows elements from Experience UI on high-end phones from the South Korean manufacturer.

We don’t know much about the hardware used on the handset yet, but this could very well be an online variant of the Galaxy J7 Max (Just as the Galaxy On Nxt was an online variant of J7 Prime last year with the only difference being difference in storage capacities). The specifications for the same are listed below.

Fortunately, we won’t have to wait much longer to know the details, Samsung Galaxy On Max is expected to go official by tonight.

Samsung earlier launched Galaxy J7 Max and J7 Pro in India priced at 17,999 INR and 20,990 INR. While the J7 Max is already available at retail stores, Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro will be available later this month.
