In terms of the specifications, the Galaxy J5 Pro sports a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display (720 x 1280p HD resolution), and comes running on the latest Android Nougat 7.0 OS, topped with the company’s customary TouchWiz skin.

The phone is pretty reminiscent of this year’s version of the Galaxy J5 (which was announced at the start of the year), albeit with bumped up RAM and inbuilt ROM. Also, as opposed to its older contemporaries, this one has a premium metal build.

The J5 Pro employs Samsung’s indigenous Exynos 7870 1.8 GHz octa-core SoC, that has a Mali-T830 MP2 GPU as well as 3gigs of RAM playing the supporting role. The inbuilt storage capacity is 32GB which can be expanded further by the use of external sources.

Furthermore, there’s a 13MP camera on the back, replete with features like f/1.7 aperture lens and a LED flash. A similar 13MP selfie snapper has been put in place by the company at the front, that has a f/1.9 aperture.
