Samsung Galaxy A20s with triple rear cameras and Snapdragon chipset launched in India

The South Korean giant has launched the Galaxy A20s in India, which as evident from the name, is a fork of the original Galaxy A20 (review). The new phone brings an extra rear camera, slightly larger display, and switches to a TFT panel as well as a Snapdragon chipset. If you recall, the brand has a trimmed down Galaxy A20e also in line.

The new phone sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1560) TFT Infinity-V display. You still get the same 8MP camera on the front. There’s been a shuffle at the back camera panel, wherein a 13MP camera leads the way, followed by a 5MP depth sensor and an 8MP ultrawide shooter.

You get both facial recognition as well as a rear fingerprint scanner, using which you can unlock and use the Android Pie-based One UI software. Underneath lies an octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset, which is backed by 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB Internal Storage. You can expand it forth upto 512GB via a dedicated slot. The phone has dual SIM support.

It stays active on a 4000mAh battery that’s bolstered by a 15W fast charger. It has a 3D plastic chassis that’ll be available in Black, Blue, Green and Red colors.

Galaxy A20s starts at Rs 11,999 for the base variant while the higher model will retail at Rs 13,999. It will be available on Samsung e-store, Samsung Opera House, leading online stores as well as offline retailers across India.
