Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite To Launch In China On June 7

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star has been in rumors and leaks have been gathering steam, suggesting that the official launch is just around the corner. A new leaked poster on Weibo confirms the official design and also reveals that the Galaxy A9 Star will be officially introduced in China at an event on June 7. The new A-series phone will also be accompanied by a trimmed down variant dubbed as the Galaxy A9 Star Lite (Youth).

Soon after the launch, the Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Lite will become available for prebooking and the window will be open until June 14. The phone will start shipping from June 15 in China.

Talking about the phone, the Galaxy A9 Star was recently spotted on TENAA with codename G8850. The phone will include a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixel translating to 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is expected to come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

The A9 Star will feature a combination of 24-megapixel and 16-megapixel sensors at the back. On the front, it is expected to house a 24-megapixel sensor as well.
