The unlimited 5G gift voucher costs Rs. 601, and for the price, buyers get 12 individual 5G upgrade coupons. Each coupon is valid for a month (30 days) from the day of activation. In other words, subscribers with a lower-tier mobile data recharge can use the voucher to browse at 5G speeds for a year.
However, to be eligible for the Rs. 601 unlimited 5G voucher, one must be on a plan offering 1.5GB of 4G data per day (monthly or quarterly recharge). The list of eligible prepaid plans includes the ones that cost between Rs. 199 and Rs. 899 (depending on the duration). However, it is important to mention that the unlimited 5G voucher isn’t applicable for the Rs. 1,899 annual plan that offers 1GB of daily data.
How To Avail The Rs. 601 Unlimited 5G Voucher?
First and foremost, users must be subscribed to a base plan that offers at least 1.5GB of data per day. Once buyers purchase the voucher, they can share it with another Jio subscriber or activate it via the My Jio app. Upon activating the voucher, users will get 3GB of daily 4G data and unlimited 5G data for 30 days.
While one redemption is enough for someone with a monthly plan, those with quarterly plans would have to redeem three unlimited 5G vouchers for the duration of their recharge. It might seem like the voucher is a bit expensive, but since it offers truly 5G data for 12 months, it offers more value for money than the other 5G data packs available on the website.
