The Indian government is doing its best to fight against Coronavirus and to ensure the safety of its citizens and we are also seeing corporates doing their bit. In order to spread awareness, Reliance Jio has launched its very own symptom checker tool on its MyJio App and website in association with the Microsoft team.

A pop-banner banner will flash on the homepage of MyJio app focussing on key things to be done during the national lockdown. The banner displays – Work from Home, Learn from Home, and Health from Home; with notification of symptom checker. Those not using Jio services can go to the official website for the tool.

Using this specific tool is quite easy. The Reliance Jio symptom checker contains a questionnaire tailored around factors that impact Covid-19 spread. The tool takes inputs through options for the provided question which ranges from gender, age, health conditions, and travel history.

Once the tool is finished with gathering inputs, it generates a report indicating the intensity of risk a user is facing. A disclaimer is also mentioned on the result page with a message – ‘This is based on the current understanding of the disease which is subject to change. Please do consult the doctor and take their advice in case you are not feeling well’.
