It’s been a while since we last saw a Redmi phone in the country. It was Redmi’s Note 10 series that brought three handsets namely the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, the Redmi Note 10 Pro, and finally, the Redmi Note 10. But, now a new member of the Note 10 family is set to launch soon in India, called the Redmi Note 10S.
Earlier this day, Redmi India teased the arrival of the new phone. Here’s the tweet —
And here’s what we know about the Redmi Note 10S.
Redmi Note 10S Specs (Global Variant)
Redmi Note 10S had actually debuted globally back in the month of March. And so we know a fair deal about its offering, provided the company brings it intact.
As you can see, the phone rocks a jazzy box with some of its key features stamped all around it. This includes MIUI 12.5 software, 64MP Camera, “Super Display”, “Hi-Res” audio, and some tags like Blazing Fast, Game On, etc.
Like the Redmi Note 10, the Note 10S also sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution. On the audio front, you get stereo speakers. Under the hood, it wields a Mediatek Helio G95 chipset coupled with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery (supporting 33W fast charging). The cameras are a 64MP+ 8MP+ 2MP+ 2MP by the back and a 13MP selfie shooter.
Other things in the mix are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 software, a 3.5mm jack, Wifi, Bluetooth 5.1, etc.
The global variant of the Redmi Note 10S coming in Gray, White, and Blue colors. Recent online reports claim the Indian edition will also flaunt these colors. There are also rumors about the Redmi 10 launch alongside this phone. Anyways, nothing’s sure before the official confirmation. So, you are advised to take the details with a pinch of salt. Also, make your calendars and set reminders for May 13 at 12 noon.
