TL; DR
  • ColorOS 17 will be unveiled globally on 13 October at 11 AM CEST, which is 2:30 PM IST. The India launch is on the same day.
  • The Find X10 series will launch globally on 21 October in Spain at 4 PM CEST, which is 7:30 PM IST.
  • China started the stable ColorOS 17 rollout on 8 October, while India’s update schedule is expected to follow after the 13 October event.

OPPO has two important dates coming up. ColorOS 17 will get its global unveiling on 13 October, while the Find X10 series will launch globally on 21 October in Spain. The India ColorOS event is also scheduled for 13 October.

ColorOS 17 was first shown in China on 17 September. The global event will start at 11 AM CEST, or 2:30 PM IST, under the tagline “Silky Smooth. Flow with AI.” Since the India event is happening on the same day, Indian users will not have to wait for a separate regional unveiling.

ColorOS 17 Features

ColorOS 17 is based on Android 17 and uses OPPO’s Fluid Fusion design. Navigation bars float around the interface, while panels use a frosted blur effect. Icons and system apps have also been redesigned, and animations now follow gestures more closely.

Notifications appear from the bottom, while the lock-screen clock adjusts its size around them. The update also adds new clocks, stickers and motion themes for the lock screen and Home Screen.

ColorOS 17 Rollout

OPPO started the stable ColorOS 17 rollout in China on 8 October. The first batch includes the Find N6, Find X9 series, OnePlus 15 and 15T, and realme GT 8 Pro, including the Aston Martin F1 Edition.

The second batch starts on 16 October and includes the Find N5, Find X8 series, Pad 5 Pro, Pad Mini, OnePlus 13 and 13T, OnePlus Pad 3 Pro, realme GT 7 Pro, GT 8 and Neo 8.

The Reno 15 and Reno 14 series, Find X7, OnePlus 12 and Ace 5 series are scheduled for 26 November, followed by another wave on 26 December. Older devices, including the Find N2 series, are scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.

OPPO has not published a separate ColorOS 17 update calendar for India yet. The closed beta currently running in the country gives an idea of which phones could be in the first wave.

The current India beta includes the Find X9 Pro, Reno 15 Pro, Reno 15 Pro Mini, OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R and realme GT 8 Pro. These are also among the device families appearing early in China’s rollout, although the Reno 15 Pro models are ahead of their position on China’s published schedule.

If the India rollout stays close to the China schedule, the Find X9, OnePlus 15 and realme GT 8 Pro should be among the first devices to receive ColorOS 17 after the 13 October event. The Find X8 and OnePlus 13 could follow in the next batch, with older Reno and mid-range phones receiving the update later.

Find X10 Series Global Launch

OPPO will launch the Find X10 series globally on 21 October in Spain at 4 PM CEST, which is 7:30 PM IST. The phones already run ColorOS 17 in China. A same-day India launch is likely, although OPPO has not confirmed the India timing separately yet.
