Realme XT with 64MP camera, Realme Buds Wireless, and Realme 10,000mAH Power Bank launched

Realme XT (review) is officially the first 64MP camera phone to launch in India, besting its archrival. While Redmi Note 8 Pro is likely a month away, Realme has made the first move. In retrospect, the company had officially revealed the Realme X successor at a briefing in China on August 27. Now, that it’s finally here, let’s have a look upon its glorified camera features and everything else it brings forth.

At the launch held today, Realme also introduced two new accessories – Realme Buds Wireless and Realme 10,000 Power Bank. So, watch out for their price and features in the latter part.

Realme XT highlights

The 64MP quad-camera setup

The XT comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED waterdrop display, an in-display fingerprint sensor, Snapdragon 712 chipset, and a 4000mAH battery with 20W VOOC charging support. However, the main highlight is for sure – the Samsung GW1 64MP quad-camera setup, followed by a 119-degree 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP macro and lastly a 2MP portrait shooter. Upfront, you get a 16MP selfie snapper.

The Android Pie based Color OS 6 is refreshed with customized fonts, Digital Wellbeing, Clone app, Dark Mode, etc.

It ships with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage, which is also expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated slot. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, Dolby AUdio support, and a micro-USB socket.

Realme has nabbed Ayushman Khuranna as Captain Realme

This time Realme is using real 3D Gorilla Glass 5 for the back with some fine gradients. It is available in Pearl White and Pearl Blue colors.

Realme Buds Wireless

Realme Buds Wireless 2.0 launched in IndiaIt comes out in three colors – Black, Green, and Orange. These new earbuds are equipped with an 11.2mm driver and Bluetooth 5.0 and which works within a range of 10m radius. Realme Wireless Buds has flexible neckband with plastic buds that are magnetic at the tip. The earbuds disconnect automatically while their ends stay attached to each other. You get a micro-USB port to charge a 110mAh battery. It claims a 12-hour music playback from a 1.5-hour charge. There is a battery indicator in the form of LED light and audio beeps.

Realme 10,000mAh power bank

Realme 10,000mAh power banks launched in India

The Realme Power Bank comes in a variety of colors like yellow, red and black. The 10,000mAh power bank weighs just 203g. It includes a USB-A port and a USB Type-C port that supports two-way fast charging at 18W. The company spoke of 12-fold security measure that should protect it against overheating and other damages due to excessive charging.

Pricing and Availability

  • Realme XT 4GB RAM + 64GB model comes at Rs.15,999 while the 6GB RAM + 64GB model is priced at Rs.16,999 and lastly the 8GB RAM + 128GB will be available for Rs. 18,999. The first sale is from 16 September 2019, at 12noon.
  • Realme Buds Wireless is priced at 1799 and is currently available.
  • Realme 10,000mAh fast charging Power Bank at Rs. 1,299 from September end via Flipkart, Amazon, and offline stores.
