Realme’s vision of making affordable smartphones with good specs is giving some real competition to its rivals. Targeting the mid-range segment, the company unveiled Realme 5 pro with Hyper boost 2.0 to improve gaming performance, a 48MP quad rear AI camera to enhance photography and VOOC fast charging technology, all at a very reasonable price. The game is to provide users a handful of new and advanced technologies but at a fair price. And it looks like Realme knows how to stay in the game.
Display and Configuration
The Realme 5 Pro is fitted with a 6.3-inch full-HD AMOLED IPS display with a water drop notch, and the fingerprint sensor remains on the back. The screen has a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels with 409 PPI. The aspect ratio of the phone is 19:5:9 and the screen-to-body ratio is 90.6%, giving more screen to users, while the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass V5.
It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 712 chipset (2.3GHz dual-core and 1.7GHz Hexa-core) with Adreno 616 GPU, assisted by 4GB RAM. This is quite an interesting hardware that should appeal to gaming enthusiasts.
Camera and Battery
The Realme 5 Pro has a setup of AI quad-camera with 48MP primary camera, 8MP wide-angle lens, 2MP portrait lens, 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP selfie camera, the primary camera is powered by SONY IMX 471 sensor that is dedicated to click quality pictures with great details.
Powered by a 4035 mAh battery, it supports VOOC fast charging technology (3.0) that can fully charge the device in around 80 minutes.
