Oppo’s online-exclusive subbrand has started off the year with the launch of Realme C1(2019) in the entry-level segment. The Realme brand revisits the 2018 C1 budget smartphone with its ‘Mega Battery’, ‘Mega Display’, ‘Mega Storage’ combination. Let talk more details. 

Realme C1 (2019) Features

This Realme C1 sports a large 6.2-inch notched display. The phone is able to maintain a 2.05mm ultra narrow bezel though it houses a compact arrangement of the earpiece, front camera and the light sensor. Courtesy of an upgraded dispensing process, the phone achieves a screen-to-body ratio of 88.8% and 19:9 screen display.

The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects your display from damage and scratch. Over and above this, Realme has also worked on improving the protection measures. Realme C1 would have an attractive translucent textured back panel with a three-dimensional effect.

Realme C1 (2019) is equipped with a 13 MP + 2 MP dual camera lens, coupled with a software algorithm, which enhances your portrait shots. The camera setup also features PDAF aimed at faster shutter speeds and focus.

As for your selfies, Realme offers an AI-enabled 5MP camera The company touts the AI algorithm’s beauty optimizations and 296 recognition points.

There are protection measures like facial unlock and SmartLock for safeguarding your security.

A 4230mAh battery fuels the Realme C1 (2019) which is quite impressive for a budget-centric smartphone. Realme claims 44 hours in phone calls, 18 hours playing music with WiFi and 10 hours of gaming with this amount of juice. Kudos to the company for including two core power-saving principles – “APP-freezing Power Saver” and “Quick App Freezing”, to reduce the overall power consumption.

Realme C1(2019) is powered by 1.8Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor. It comes in the option of a  2GB RAM + 32GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage models. The good news is the availability of a dedicated SD card slot expandable up to 256GB. The handset also supports dual 4G and dual VoLTE support.

The two variants would be available exclusively on Flipkart starting 5 February 2019 at 12:00 pm.  You could grab the 2GB+32GB model for Rs. 7499 and the 3GB+ 32GB storage variant for Rs. 8499. This brand new Realme phone would hit the markets in two colors viz. Ocean Blue and Deep Black.
