Google Pixel 6A Display and Camera

Google Pixel 6A comes fitted with a 6.14-inches OLED touchscreen display with a punch-hole notch. It offers edge-to-edge viewing and has slim bezels as well, also the panel support an HDR feature that enhances the watching experience. Besides, the display is protected with a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 and it refreshes at 60Hz.

Google uses a flat horizontal camera bump with a dual-rear camera and a dual-LED flash. The setup includes a 12.2MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.7 and a 12MP ultrawide sensor with a 114˚ viewing angle. Impressive features like a Magic Eraser (which can wipe out background images), improved low-light photography, Real Tone for better portraits, Timelapse, Optical Image Stabilization, etc are present. The front side of the phone has an 8MP punch-hole camera for selfies and video chats.

Google Pixel 6A Performance and Battery

Pixel 6A is powered by Google’s Tensor chipset which was earlier used in the Pixel 6 smartphone. Tensor is a 5nm process SoC based on ARM architecture, the chipset retains octa-core CPUs with a max clock speed of 2.8GHz, an ARM Mali-G78 MP20 GPU, and 6GB LPDDR5 RAM. It is a Google phone so a neat and clean Android experience is expected, by the way, it runs on the Android v12 operating system out of the box.

The smartphone packs a 4410mAh non-removable Li-Po battery under the hood. It automatically optimizes the battery juice by lowering the power usage for less used apps, also it has a battery saver mode that extends the battery power and offers up to 72 hours of battery life, Google claims. Besides, the phone gets charged via a Type-C cable and supports fast charging.

Google Pixel 6A comes with 128GB of internal storage which can be used for keeping demanding apps and games. The phone offers decent storage, however, it lacks an SD card slot that restricts keeping extra files.

The smartphone’s connectivity options are 4G with VoLTE, 5G (in selected markets), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and USB v3.1 Type C headphone jack and a charging port. Besides, the phone has its own GPS for online location tracking.
