Poco X6 Series to Arrive in India Very Soon: Read on to know more

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco recently launched the budget Poco M6 5G (review here) smartphone in India. The Poco M6 5G had specs similar to Xiaomi’s Redmi 13C which also came out a few weeks ago. After launching the budget variant in the ‘M’ series, Poco has now started teasing its first launch of 2024.

Poco India’s Country Head Himanshu Tandon shared a post via his X (formerly Twitter) handle teasing a surprise being bought by Santa. This is the Poco X6 Series he is talking about as the poster has an ‘X’ in the background. A few minutes ago, Poco India handle teased a device that will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset offering extreme performance. All these are hints towards the Poco X6 Series that will be Poco’s first launch in India in 2024. In another post, Poco is calling the X6 Series the ‘Ultimate Predator. Poco X6 Series: Details

The mid-budget Poco X6 Series is expected to include 2 smartphones- Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro 5G. The Poco X6 Pro 5G is said to be the rebrand of the Redmi Note 13 Pro and might launch a few days after the Redmi Note 13 Series launch in January.

The series has been spotted on various certification websites in the past few days, thus confirming an imminent launch. It received BIS certification as well.

Since it is expected to be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 13 Pro, the Poco X6 might feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. At the back is said to be a 200MP camera setup while the front will feature a 16MP lens. Under the hood, a 5100mAh battery will juice up the device with 67W wired fast charging capability.

As for the Pro version, it might sport the same 6.67-inch AMOLED panel but it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. At the back might be a 64MP triple lens setup and under the hood, a 5000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging.

Since the launch has already been teased, the official date will be out soon.
