The Poco F5 Series is expected to go official in May. The Poco F5 Series will include 2 models- Poco F5 & Poco F5 Pro, out of which only the vanilla Poco F5 variant will launch in India. The Poco F5 will be a successor to the Poco F4 that came out last year. Now, details about the storage models and more have been tipped online. Read on to know more.

Poco F5 India launch

The India head of Poco has started teasing the launch of the Poco F5 soon. Earlier this week, memory variants were tipped. Himanshu Tandon, head of Poco India has confirmed that their next product will have 8GB RAM+256GB storage and 12GB RAM+256GB storage options in India.

Now, the head has hinted about the Poco F5 by describing it in 5 letters starting with ‘F’. According to him, the smartphone will be ‘Fast, Finetuned, Fearless, Fantastic and Futuristic’. The smartphone is expected to come in black, white, and blue shades.

Geekbench listing has shown a score of model number 23013PC75G where ‘G’ stands for global variant. The Indian variant has the model number 23049PCD8I. It has clocked a single-core score of 1118 and a multi-core score of 4326 points.

The Poco F5 might just be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. Let us have a look at the specs of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo to get an idea about the features of the Poco F5.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo sports a 6.67-inch 12-bit FHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset and features a 64MP OIS-enabled camera setup at the back. The smartphone has dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 5000mAh battery with 67W charging, and more. It runs MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box.

The Poco F5 will be accompanied by Poco F5 Pro in some markets. However, the pro model will most likely not come to India.
