Smartphones launching in India in April 2023

2023 is 3 months in and we have seen quite a lot of smartphone launches till now. The 4th month is no less as April is expected to see as many as 13 big launches that might happen this month. Brands like OnePlus, iqoo, Samsung, Realme, Poco, and Vivo will bring smartphones in every category like gaming, budget, camera champion, and more. Here are the smartphones expected to launch this year.

1. OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G

Launch Date- 4th April

The successor to the Nord CE 2 is here. OnePlus is all set to launch the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G in India today. The smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 695 5G chipset and sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Nord CE 3 Lite has a triple camera setup at the back including a 108MP primary, 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor while the front has a 16MP selfie lens. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging. OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite will come in charcoal grey and pastel lime colors and have up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

2. Poco F5 5G

Launch date- 6 April

Poco F5 5G is coming to India very soon and online reports claim that it will flaunt an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

Poco F5 is said to have a 16MP selfie lens while the back will have a triple camera setup including a 64MP primary, 8MP Ultrawide, and 2MP macro lens. The smartphone is said to pack a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

Expected price- Rs. 30,999

3. Samsung M54 5G

Launch date- expected in 3rd week of April

The Samsung Galaxy M54 5G will be powered by Exynos 1380 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. As Samsung is popular for its large battery, Galaxy M54 5G is expected to have a 6000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. Galaxy M54 5G will sport a 6.7-inch display with a 32MP selfie lens. The back will have 108MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro cameras.

Expected price- Rs. 37,999

4. Asus ROG Phone 7

Launch date- 13 April

Asus ROG Phone 7 will debut in India in April. As per the leaks, the ROG Phone 7 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It is a gaming-centric device that is said to feature a 50MP primary, 13MP ultrawide, and an 8MP macro lens at the back. The front will have a 32MP selfie camera placed on a 144Hz AMOLED display. Asus ROG Phone 7 will have a 6000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

Expected price- Rs. 69,999

5. Vivo X90 Series

Launch date- tentatively in April

The premium offering from Vivo, the Vivo X90 Series is expected to come to India this month. Vivo X90 has flagship cameras at the front as well as the back. Vivo X90 has a 50MP main, a 12MP 2x telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide angle camera at the back. It has a 32MP selfie lens and sports a 120Hz curved AMOLED panel. It is powered by Dimensity 9200 chipset and packs a 4810mAh battery with 120W charging. Vivo X90 Pro has a 50MP main, 12MP telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide angle camera at the back. It has a larger 4870mAh battery and displays up to 1500 nits brightness.

Expected price- Vivo X90 is expected to be around Rs. 56,999 while the Vivo X90 Pro will cost around Rs. 61,999 for the base model.

6. Xiaomi 13 Ultra

Launch date- last week of April

Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to be launched soon in China. The Ultra model has a 6.9-inch 2K E6 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and the latest chipset. It is said to feature a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto lens at the back while the front will have a 32MP selfie camera. It is expected to pack a 5500mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

Expected price- Rs. 79,999

7. iQOO Z7 Series

Launch date- middle of April

iQOO launched the Z7 line-up in March 2023, and the brand will add 2 more devices in April 2023. iQOO Z7 Pro and iQOO Z7X will be added to the latest Z series and like always, it will focus on the budget segment. The iQOO Z7 series will feature Snapdragon 782G chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. In terms of camera, it might have a 64MP OIS primary camera along with a 2MP secondary camera. The front will have a 16MP selfie lens on a 90Hz HDR10+ display panel.

Expected price- around Rs, 19,999

8. Moto Edge 40 Pro

Launch date- around 14th April

Moto Edge 40 Pro will debut globally in mid-April. The Edge series is one of the most successful series of Moto and Edge 40 Pro will be a huge new addition to the line-up. Moto Edge 40 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It is likely to have a 6.67-inch P-OLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a 60MP camera at the front. At the back will be a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and a 12MP telephoto lens. It will pack a 4600mAh battery with 125W Turbo fast charging.

Expected price- Rs. 52,990 for the base model

9. Vivo V27e

Launch date- 1st half of April

Vivo has already launched the V27 Series in India but now the company will add one more device to the series. Vivo V27e will be a mid-range camera-centric phone that is expected to have a 32MP selfie shooter. At the rear is expected a 64MP primary, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro lens. It is likely to sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset with 8GB RAM and a 128GB base model. It is likely to pack a 4600mAh battery with 66W fast charging tech.

Expected price- Rs. 23,990

10. Realme GT Neo 5SE

Launch date- by the end of April

Realme GT Neo 5 SE will be a lighter version of the Realme GT Neo 5. It is launching on April 3 in China and is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and sport a 6.7-inch 144Hz AMOLED panel. In terms of the camera, it might have a 64MP primary lens, 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. The front might sport a 16MP selfie lens while the device might pack a 5500mAh battery with 100W charging.

Expected price- Rs. 38,990 for the base model.

11. Vivo T2 Series

Launch date- 11 April

The Vivo T2 Series will arrive in India this month. It will include Vivo T2 5G, Vivo T2X 5G, and Vivo T2 Pro 5G smartphones. T2 Series will focus on the mid-range budget segment and Vivo T2 has been confirmed to come with MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. The T2 Series is expected to have a 90Hz FHD+ display along with a 5000mAh battery, 65W charging, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage.

Expected price- Rs. 19,999 for the base model

12. Realme Narzo N55 (Project N)

Launch date- 12 April

Realme’s N Project is reportedly Narzo N55 which will come in Prime Black and Prime Blue colorways. The handset will come in 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM models and 64GB/128GB storage models. The image that has surfaced online reveals a USB Type-C charging port, speaker grille, and 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. More features will be known as the launch gets closer.

Expected price- Around Rs. 15,000

13. Poco C51

Launch date- 7 April

Poco is expanding the C series by launching Poco C55 in India. It will have a 6.52-inch HD+ display and be powered by MediaTek Helio G36 SoC paired with up to 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. It will run Android 13 Go Edition and have a dual camera setup at the back. dual setup will include an 8MP main camera and a secondary camera. At the front will be a 5MP selfie shooter. Poco C51 will feature a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging and come in blue and black colors.
