Poco, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is all set to launch its Poco F5 Pro globally on May 9, alongside the Poco F5 5G. The base Poco F5 is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. This lineup is expected to succeed the Poco F4 5G series that debuted in India in June 2022. With numerous leaks and reports circulating about the upcoming series, an alleged unboxing video of the Poco F5 Pro has now surfaced on Twitter ahead of its official launch.
The unboxing video was shared by Indian tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, and it shows the design and some key specifications of the Poco F5 Pro. It should be noted that there have been several leaks about the smartphone in the past. Let’s take a closer look at the leaked design and specifications.
According to the video, the Poco F5 Pro will feature a bottom-mounted USB Type-C connector along with a speaker grille and SIM tray. The upcoming smartphone will have a center punch-hole display with minimal bezels. The right side of the Poco F5 Pro will house the power and volume buttons with a glossy back. The box contains a 67W charger, a Type-C cable, a phone cover, and some documents.
Display-wise, the Poco F5 Pro will offer a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, as confirmed by the tipster. The smartphone is expected to sport a triple rear camera module with a 64MP (OIS) primary camera, an 8MP sensor, and a 2MP sensor. It will come equipped with a 16MP selfie sensor on the front. The upcoming smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and is expected to come with at least 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The Poco F5 Pro will pack a 5,160mAh battery with 67W fast charging support and 30W wireless charging support, making it one of the fastest charging smartphones in the market. The upcoming smartphone will also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
