Poco F5 confirmed to launch in India on May 9: Read on to know more

Poco is all set to launch the F5 Series of smartphones in India as well as globally. The brand confirmed that the Poco F5 Series including the Poco F5 & Poco F5 Pro will launch globally while only Poco F5 will come to India on May 9.

The Poco F5 will sell via Flipkart in India. Micro-site has gone live that shows Poco F5 in white color option. The official teaser on Flipkart also confirms that Poco F5 is actually a rebrand of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo that launched in China.

Poco F5: Key specs revealed

Ahead of the launch, Poco has revealed some important details about the Poco F5. The Poco F5 will have a triple camera setup at the back and be powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. This will be the first phone in the market with this chipset.

Reports claim Poco F5 will sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 67W fast charging. The triple camera setup at the back might include a 64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens. At the front will be a 16MP selfie camera.

The Poco India Head Himanshu Tandon conducted a survey on Twitter and based on the responses he also confirmed that Poco F5 will come in 2 storage models- 8GB RAM+256GB storage & 12GB RAM+256GB storage.

Poco F5: Price tipped

Tipster Yogesh Brar claims that the Poco F5 will be priced at either Rs. 28,000 or Rs. 29,000 for the base model in the Indian market.

Poco F5 Pro: Expected specs

Poco F5 Pro is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It is the rebrand of the Redmi K60 that was launched in China earlier. Poco F5 Pro will only launch globally, it won’t come to India.
