Oppo Reno 14 Series Features And Specifications (Confirmed)

Design

In its latest press release, Oppo elaborates on how it has designed the upcoming Reno 14 series. Compared to its typical six-layer construction in past Reno designs, the Reno 14 series uses five rounds of micro-level optimization, which create light and shadow lines at just 20 microns, resulting in the new iridescent glow finish.

The design reflects multiple color tones. Oppo Reno 14’s Pearl White variant features Velvet Glass, which is crafted using a cold-sculpting process that involves 65 precise steps (taking more time to engrave and polish), while the Titanium Gray variant uses a high-reflective coating on a matte base. The vanilla Reno 14 also comes in a Forest Green variant with a luminous loop deco that creates an illusion of lighting around the rear camera.

Thickness

The Reno 14 is 7.42 mm thick (in the Pearl White and Forest Green colorways), while the Reno 14 Pro is 7.48 mm or 7.58 mm for the Titanium Gray and Pearl White finishes, respectively.

IP Rating

Additionally, the Reno 14 series boasts an IP66/IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance rating, which is sufficient to withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water blasts and immersion in freshwater (up to 1.5m for 30 minutes).

Screen

The official press release also mentions that the Reno 14 features a 6.59-inch screen with a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio, while the Reno 14 Pro boasts a 6.83-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 93.6% screen-to-body ratio.

Both models have thin bezels, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, can achieve 1,200 nits of peak brightness, and support globe touch functionality. The Reno 14 series also supports 3840Hz PWM dimming, low blue light filtering, and HDR10+ support (for OTT platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime).

Oppo Reno 14 screen

In its native market, Oppo equips the vanilla Reno 14 with the Dimensity 8350 SoC and the Reno 14 Pro with the Dimensity 8450 SoC. Further, both phones run on ColorOS 15 (based on Android 15) and feature a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP selfie shooter.

The Oppo Reno 13 debuted for Rs. 37,999, while the Reno 13 Pro (review) was priced at Rs. 49,999 (for the baseline models).

This year, the Reno 14 and the Reno 14 Pro could debut at a similar price, with introductory offers giving buyers a certain discount.
