Oppo K9 Pro debuts in China with minor upgrades

The Oppo K9 Pro smartphone debuted in China as a slight upgrade to the Oppo K9. The device features a 64-megapixel primary camera on the back of the handset. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimnesity 1200 SoC and has an under-screen fingerprint sensor. Oppo K9 Pro comes with a 4,500mAh battery with 60W Flash Charge support. There are also dual stereo speakers and a 120Hz display refresh rate on the phone.

Oppo K9 Pro Features

In terms of specifications, the Oppo K9 Pro runs on ColorOS 11.3 and is compatible with Android 11. The phone comes with a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, 409ppi pixel density, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. With 12GB of RAM, this device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It has 256GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, the Oppo K9 Pro has a 64-megapixel primary camera with an aperture of f/1.7, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with an aperture of f/2.2, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. With 16 megapixels and f/2.4 aperture, the Oppo K9 Pro has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

With its 4,500mAh battery, Oppo K9 Pro offers super flash charging at 60W. The phone features an under-display fingerprint sensor. A USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, 5G support, NFC, and more connectivity options. 158.7×73.5×8.5mm is the dimensions of the Oppo K9 Pro, which weighs 180 grams. Dual stereo speakers are also included.

Oppo K9 Pro Price and Availability

Oppo’s new K9 Pro smartphone costs CNY 2,199 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and CNY 2,699 for the variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. These two models will be sold for CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 22,800) and CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 28,500), respectively, for a limited amount of time. There will be two color options: Obsidian Warrior and Glacier Overture. The phone is up for reservations and will be on sale through the company’s official channels from September 30.
