Using the OPPO Find X8 Series for the past few weeks has been a revelation. One aspect of the device that not many people are talking about but greatly enhances user experience is the all-new ColorOS 15. 3. AI Photo Remaster: Enhance Clarity, Unblur, and Remove Reflections

One of my favorite OPPO Find X8 Series ColorOS 15 features is AI Photo Remaster. It has genuinely transformed how I look at my older/blurry photos. Using the AI Unblur feature in the OS’ AI suite, I was able to take grainy photos from years ago and remaster them, giving them a fresh, clean look.

Then, I used the Enhance Clarity feature to upscale these photos and make them look sharper and more detailed. But what stole the show was the Reflection Removal tool—it wiped out unwanted reflections and even cleared haze, leaving my photos with that flawless look I was aiming for.

I believe that these photo editing tools take the already-great quad 50 MP camera experience to the next level, with superb functionality and features that provide the perfect editing touch any professional photographer would appreciate.

4. AI Studio Reimagine

Now, I was looking for something fresh for one of my social media profiles, so I decided to try the AI Studio Reimagine feature. The app gave me the option to choose from various styles, including Game, GTA, Line Art, Alebrije, Mosaic, Coffee, Fairy Tale, and more.

Personally, I liked the Line Art style the most, so, naturally, I posted it on one of my social media profiles. The app also offers an AI Portrait feature—another way to generate AI portraits of yourself, which I quite enjoyed using.

5. AI Toolbox: Convenience at Your Fingertips

AI Toolbox has also been a game changer in my daily routine. Whether I’m working, reading, or just browsing, it’s always there in the sidebar, with tools that save me time and keep me on track.

For instance, I’ve been using AI Summary when reading lengthy articles or researching something. Instead of skimming through pages, I just tap to get a quick summary, which has made my reading process so much faster.

And if I don’t want to read, AI Speak comes in handy. I simply plug in my earphones and listen to articles or documents while I’m doing other things, like commuting.

One of my favorite features is AI Writer. I’ve used it to quickly polish emails or rewrite sentences for clarity, especially when I’m in a rush or need to make sure my tone is spot on.

As for the Recorder app, I used it during classes to record long lectures. Later, I could easily get a summary of the main points without having to listen to everything. This uses Gemini 1.5 Pro to transcribe and summarize the voice notes.

The Notes app has also been super useful for organizing all my thoughts as well as the lecture summaries. Once I’ve summarized everything, I use the Notes app to format it with just one tap. It can do more than that—like, elaborate or shorten the text and more.

Finally, the Documents app has been a time-saver for work. When I need to quickly get the gist of a document in another language, it gives me a neat summary and even translates or rewrites it as needed. And of course, it can open several kinds of document types too.

6. Circle to Search

Circle to Search is such a convenient way to search. Ithas changed the way I Google stuff on the internet. Just press and hold the navigation bar, draw a circle around what I want to search, and get instant results—super handy for quick research or shopping. I can even translate my screen or search for music.

7. Touch to Share: Simple, Instant Transfers

(I had to try Touch to Share on ColorOS 15, and wow, it’s incredible. It lets me share files effortlessly between my OPPO Find X8 Series and an iPhone or iPad. I installed the O+ Connect app on the iOS device, and the experience was seamless. I can’t wait for the NFC update to do this even seamlessly with just a simple NFC tap.

8. Partnership with Google: Power of Gemini & Circle to Search

ColorOS 15’s integration with Google’s ecosystem elevates its functionality. Google Gemini, the digital assistant, seamlessly handles tasks like setting reminders, answering queries, and managing apps.

The Gemini 1.5 Pro’s capabilities, such as transcription and summarization in the Recorder app, add another layer of convenience. Combined with features like Circle to Search, the Google partnership enhances productivity and usability.
