Oppo F1s is a selfie first handset that promises to make you look good in all lighting conditions. The selfie camera uses a fairly large 1/3.1-inch sensor that squeezes in 16-megapixels and has a wide f/2.0 aperture lens layered on top.

Add to that Oppo’s ‘Beautify 4.0’ software and you get a very compelling recipe for low light self-portraits. The primary camera is no slouch either. You get the same 1/3.1-inch size 13MP sensor, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and LED flash. It must also be noted, that camera specs can often be underwhelming, and it isn’t wise to be excited just yet.

The Image Signal Processor handling these camera modules comes from MediaTek. The Oppo F1s relies on midrange MT6750 SoC, which is a 28nm HPM process based big.LITTLE architecture chip with 4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and another four at 1.0GHz.

What else?

Well, the Oppo F1 Plus also offers a fast fingerprint sensor, slim-and-sexy Aluminum body, 32 Gigs of internal storage, 3GB RAM, and a 3075mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

The Software is still Android Lollipop, and it’s buried deep within layers of Color OS 3.0.
