OnePlus One Gets Its First OS Update

OnePlus is a recent smartphone brand which has been proving its mettle in the fierce run with its solo device OnePlus One which is available in India only through flash sale on Amazon.in. The smartphone has been working wonders whether it is about a powerful performance or mouth-opening sales track. It has been a complete winner so far. OnePlus One launch in India occurred in India in late 2014 and since then it has been liked pretty much as a medium budget smartphone.

Atop all of this greatness about the phone, it has now got a firmware upgrade equivalent to Android Lollipop. OnePlus One features previously rolling Cyanogen OS, which has now been replaced by the latest update called Oxygen OS which is OnePlus’ alternative for Android Lollipop.

The update process does not follow the traditional automatic method of checking for available software updates under the Settings menu.
