Astounding Value For Money - Flagship Killer, Never Settle

Another Chinese player that has garnered a lot of attention this year is OnePlus after Xiaomi that vowed the Indian market where most of its flash sales were sold out within seconds. OnePlus One comes with top end specifications at an affordable price point gives you a great experience of the unique CyanogenMod with a lot of customization. We had the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS with the CyanogenMod CM 11S custom ROM atop it. A 5.5-inch full HD display having pixel density at 401 pixels per inch. That is quite a dense display and thanks to the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 covering, the phone is protected from accidental scratches. On the camera front you have the 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. There is a 3100 mAh battery with exceptional performance that adds a new feather in the cap. You can remove the rear cover, but you can’t take out the battery. It supports quad-band 2G and 3G along with 4G LTE bands. On the connectivity front, you have Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, Wi-fi Direct and DLNA. It supports GPS with GLONASS along with sensors such as a proximity sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer. Overall the phone is worth buying.

With this astonished specification cons of this phone can be neglected like Heavy weight, No card Slot etc

OnePlus One review: a 21,999 smartphone has never looked so good

It doesn't make sense that the OnePlus One should be this inexpensive. It looks elegant, feels solid and performs smoothly, and it doesn't show any signs that it's a first-generation product from an unknown company. Regardless of how well it sells, the industry will see this as a benchmark for what an affordable phone really can be. All told, it outperforms Google's Nexus 5 in nearly every way -- and it does so at an even lower price. read more →

OnePlus One

Where did this come from? Samsung, HTC, Sony, and even Google will be asking the very same question of the OnePlus One, we suspect. The OnePlus One's performance-to-price ratio is one of the most impressive we've ever seen in a smartphone, offering Samsung Galaxy S5 performance for less than half the price.

The way it takes on the very cream of the Android crop whilst charging less than half the price makes it a bargain of near Motorola Moto G proportions. read more →

  • Unbelievably low price
  • Top-notch specs
  • Solid construction
  • No microSD slot
  • Poor call quality
  • Non-removable battery
  • Over-sensitive gestures

OnePlus One review: A high-end smartphone for Android experts

Given its blistering performance, the OnePlus One is a phenomenal deal for a high-end smartphone, as long as it's compatible with your network and you're happy to compromise on customer support and slightly sketchy software. It's not one for smartphone novices or the faint-hearted, but it's still a cracking bargain nonetheless. read more →

  • A sleek design that comfortably fits in your pocket.
  • Lag-free performance for a relatively low price.
  • powerful specs deliver a smooth performance.
  • 5.5-inch display is too wide to use with one hand.
  • Android-based CyanogenMod operating system isn't very stable at the moment.
  • The camera is mediocre, and audio volume during calls is too soft.

OnePlus One review

The OnePlus One offers an awful lot of phone for not much money. In most respects, it's the equal to phones like the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2. And it's pretty amazing when you think about it.

However, there are a few niggles - the dodgy 4G support being the most important one. The biggest problem in reality is quite how tricky these phones are to buy. In short supply and not available on shelves in the UK, you need to put some effort in to get hold of one. read more →
