OnePlus offers extended warranty options to its Indian customers

OnePlus 2 handset owners in India are all set to be benefited by the companies new extended warranty service options. The company has named these services as B2X Service and B2X Protect.

OnePlus devices comes with a one year warranty cover starting from the date of purchase. Now with B2X service user can extend it for another year. Under the umbrella of B2X Service, OnePlus covers all flaws as are eligible under original manufacturer warranty. The company is charging Rs. 999 for B2X service in India.

The B2X Protect plan will further protect you from other unwanted incidents and mishaps.  Under B2X Protect Plan company provides protection against physical and liquid damage to OnePlus 2. To reap these benefits, you will have to shell out Rs. 1,299 extra.

However, company has put forward some stringent pre-requisite criteria for its customers. A Customer is required to buy this Service Plan within 30 days of purchase of the OnePlus 2 device and will have to register at B2X Care within 7 days of purchase by providing relevant purchase details.

Similarly, Customers are required to purchase the Protect Plan within 10 days of purchase of the OnePlus 2 device and have to register at B2X Care within 7 days of purchase by providing relevant purchase detail. Unfortunately, early buyers of OnePlus 2 feels cheated as they cannot avail these extended warranty plans.

To refresh your memory, OnePlus 2 – the “2016 flagship killer” is the successor of flagship phone OnePlus One. It runs Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. OnePlus 2 sports an 13 MP Camera at the back side with dual LED Flash and 4K video.
