OnePlus 9RT Gets spotted on Geekbench: Expected to go official in India with Snapdragon 888 SoC & 12GB RAM

OnePlus has already denied the launch of the OnePlus 9T or OnePlus 9T Pro this year. Now, it is being speculated that OnePlus 9RT might get launched in limited markets (like China and India) soon. The reason for this is that the OnePlus 9RT has been spotted on the Geekbench website with a model number MT2100.

OnePlus 9RT Geekbench Listing

The Geekbench listing reveals the smartphone to be with 12GB of RAM. The Qualcomm processor is named Lahaina and the octa-core processor has a 2.84GHz clock speed with Adreno 660 GPU. This means that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The listing reveals Geekbench’s single-core score to be 818 and multi-core score to be 3246. It will launch with Android 11 and have a layer of OxygenOS on top.

OnePlus 9RT Expected Specs

Earlier reports had revealed that the OnePlus 9RT will feature a 6.55-inch FHD+E3 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will pack a 4500mAh battery under the hood with a 65W fast charging support. It is expected to have a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, 16MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP tertiary sensor along with a 16MP camera for selfies and videos.

The smartphone is expected to come in 3 storage variants-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage variant
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant

12GB RAM+256GB storage variant

Although there has been no official confirmation by the company, the leaks suggest that the OnePlus 9RT could launch sometime in October.
