Shortly after the launch of the OnePlus 15 (review) and the OnePlus 15R (review), the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is gearing up to reveal another smartphone in the number series: the OnePlus 15T. Successor to the OnePlus 13T, the handset is said to feature an LTPS screen with an extremely high refresh rate and a massive battery.

Compact Size Meets a 165Hz Display and Huge Battery

According to the Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 15T will feature a 6.3-inch 1.5K+ display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. Although the screen might not support LTPO for a truly variable refresh rate, it should still be able to switch between preset refresh rate values.

Further, with a 6.3-inch screen, the OnePlus 15T should be about the same size as the OnePlus 13T or the OnePlus 13S (review). While the details about the smartphone’s chipset are under wraps, it could feature a 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor paired with a telephoto lens (for optical zoom).

However, the main highlight of the OnePlus 15T is the rumored 7,500 mAh battery, which is larger than those on the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R. In other words, the OnePlus 15T could be the largest battery phone with a 6.3-inch screen.

Additional features of the proposed smartphone include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a metal frame for a premium in-hand feel. As and when the OnePlus 13T arrives in China, it should also launch in India sooner or later.
