Seemingly, Zuckerberg visited Oculus’ VR research laboratory in Redmond, Washington and later posted quite a few photographs with most of them showcasing the facility’s capabilities and one with himself toying with the white motion control gloves. The lab houses a team which on next-gen hardware and is led by chief scientist Micheal Abrash.

“We’re working on new ways to bring your hands in virtual and augmented reality. Wearing these gloves, you can draw, type on a virtual keyboard, and even shoot webs like Spider-Man. That’s what I’m doing here,” the 32-year-old wrote in the caption of the said photograph.

Not much is known about the gloves, but it has been made out that they apparently feature a collection of third-party OptiTrack sensors instead of normal external tracking cameras.

Gloves have been commonly used as VR inputs methods before too, the most relevant example being Nintendo’s Power Glove. Although the Facebook-owned Oculus has been a major player in the VR industry since long, it is yet to come out with the same.
