Samsung India introduced its tall and handsome Galaxy C9 Pro in India about a month ago and has now started accepting pre-orders for the mid-range flagship. The pre-booking window closes on February 12 and the handset will start shipping from February 24 onwards. The official price of Galaxy C9 Pro in India is Rs. 36,900, however, the company has tied up with HDFC bank to offer EMI option to the customers.
So, what extra goodies are in store for anyone who pays well in advance?
Well, Samsung is offering one-time screen replacement warranty. However, to avail, this offer one will have to pay a nominal charge of Rs. 990 while availing the offer, which is frankly a small token amount when compared to the actual display replacement cost. As per the terms and conditions mentioned on the official site, “customers pre-booking the device shall be eligible for a One Time Screen Replacement during a period of 12 months from the date of activation of the device by paying only Rs. 990 at the time of availing the offer.”

The Galaxy C9 Pro boasts a 6-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution and modest 367ppi pixel density. The phone depends on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC for all heavy lifting. It comes with four Cortex A72 core clocked at 1.95GHz and four Cortex A53 core ticking at 1.4GHz. For Gaming, multitasking, and media storage, it gets Adreno 510 GPU, 6Gigs of RAM and 64GB expandable storage.

It bears a 16-megapixel camera on both front and back. Both cameras come with f/1.9 aperture and flash. Like most Galaxy phones, the fingerprint scanner is embedded on the physical home button. It draws juice from 4000mAh battery which supports fast charging. It supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 /b/g/n), GPS, Glonass, NFC and USB Type-C as connectivity options. The phone measures 162.9×80.7×6.9mm and weigh 189 grams.
