TL; DR
  • Nothing Phone (3) confirmed to launch in July 2025, with the teasers already live.
  • Teaser hints at a dot matrix display on the back, possibly interactive.
  • Could pack Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or 8 Elite, expected price around ₹65,000 in India.

Nothing has officially kicked off the teaser campaign for the Nothing Phone (3), confirming a July 2025 launch. A new teaser video released by the company shows a Pac-Man–style animation where a pixelated figure is seen consuming dots, visually hinting at a “new dots” interface, possibly pointing to a dot-matrix style display on the back of the device.

The teaser’s tagline reads “New dots. Phone (3). Coming July 2025,” suggesting that Nothing’s design focus this time might revolve around a new kind of visual notification or interaction system on the back panel.

However, this idea isn’t exactly new, ASUS’s ROG Phone 9 Pro has already featured a secondary back display capable of showing animations, game stats, and more, even supporting game-trigger interactions. The Nothing Phone (3) might be offering a more minimal take on that concept.

    Nothing Phone (3) Expected Specifications

As for the specs, Nothing hasn’t confirmed anything officially, but rumors suggest that the Phone (3) could either come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, or—less likely—the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite. The build is said to use premium materials, likely using glass and metal. We can also expect the new Essential Key for the Phone (3).

When it comes to pricing, Carl had already teased it at The Android Show, where he said that European retail could be around €800, which, based on previous Nothing releases, translates to about ₹65,000 in India (not a direct conversion, but adjusted to market strategy).
