The Nothing Phone (2a) Community Edition is set to launch on October 30th at 4:30 PM IST. This project marks an industry-first co-creation effort, empowering the community to shape the smartphone’s design and software. It reimagines the original Nothing Phone (2a) with unique design elements.
The hardware design, crafted by Kenta Akasaki and Astrid Vanhuyse, brings a glow-in-the-dark feature with a striking green color scheme.
Andrés Mateos, the winner of the wallpaper design stage, took inspiration from transparent objects and the Nothing ecosystem, including the brand’s earphones.

Ian Henry Simonds designed the packaging, giving the box a distinctive look that features the “Phone (2a)” branding.
