OnePlus N6 Launched in India: Check Price and Specifications

OnePlus has introduced a new budget smartphone in India called the OnePlus N6. Sitting below the Nord CE6 Lite (review), the new N-series device brings long battery life, durability features, and the familiar OxygenOS experience at a relatively affordable price. The OnePlus N6 arrives in Fresh Mint and Midnight Black color options and will go on sale starting July 4.

OnePlus N6 Price in India and Availability

The OnePlus N6 is available in the following variants:

  • 4GB + 128GB: ₹22,999
  • 6GB + 128GB: ₹24,999

As part of launch offers, buyers can avail a ₹2,000 instant bank discount. Amazon Prime customers can also get an additional ₹1,000 discount, bringing the effective starting price down to ₹19,999.

The smartphone will be available via Amazon India, OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store app, OnePlus Experience Stores, and partner retail outlets.

OnePlus N6 Specifications

The OnePlus N6 features a 6.8-inch 720p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness.

Powering the device is the new MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. OnePlus has also included a 5,300mm² vapor chamber cooling system.

The handset runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box. OnePlus is promising two years of Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates.

The biggest highlight of the N6 is undoubtedly its 8,000 mAh battery. It supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, bypass charging, and 5W reverse wired charging. According to OnePlus, the battery is rated for 1,600 charge cycles and is designed to retain over 80% of its original capacity after seven years.

For photography, the phone offers a 50MP 1/2.88-inch f/1.8 primary rear camera alongside a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera. Video recording is supported at up to 1080p 60fps (30fps on the 4GB variant).

Despite housing a massive battery, the OnePlus N6 measures 8.8mm thick and weighs 208 grams. The phone comes with MIL-STD-810H certification, ArmorShell Protection, and an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance. 

Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, OTG, and dual-SIM support. The smartphone also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a single speaker with support for 400% Ultra Volume mode.
