Update: Looks like, the new upcoming N-series phone is from 360 mobiles and not from Nokia. The phone will be launched on February 22.

Remember last week we told you about the purported comeback of Nokia’s erstwhile hugely popular N series smartphones? Well, that is supposed to turn to into reality, come 22nd February.

A recent post on the Chinese social networking site Weibo has thrown up the release date of the revamped phone, which is all set to be unveiled at a conference that the company is organizing nine days from now.

Source: WeiboThe invite for the said conference comes in a black box and states the details of the program as well the directions for the venue in Chinese along with the words, ‘N-series once more’ at the middle of the invite.

Alongside that, there is also the earlier version of the phone, which hit big when Nokia was in its prime (circa early 2000s).

As we earlier told you, the resurrected N81 would most probably be a budget smartphone and is reportedly already in production phase.
