Close to the Nokia 6 (2017) anniversary, HMD Global has unveiled its successor, Nokia 6 (2018) smartphone in China. The new smartphone by the Finland firm comes with incremental updates that will offer an improved performance and better experience at the mid-range price.

Nokia 6 (2018) Features
The second-gen Nokia 6 looks very different from its predecessor. The new Nokia 6 comes in unibody design with 6000 series aluminium chassis with subtly curved corners and 2.5D curved glass on top. Unlike, the 2017 Nokia 6 the fingerprint sensor is on the rear and the navigational buttons have shifted to the screen.
Face up, the Nokia 6 (2018) has the same 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display with 16:9 aspect ratio. However, its innards have been upgraded. Under the hood, the phone rocks Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage.

In optics, it features a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and f/2.0 aperture. While on the front, Nokia 6 (2018) has an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The cameras are further supported by Nokia’s dual-sight technology or the ‘Bothie’ feature in simpler terms. With Bothie, you can split your screen into two halves to click images and videos from both front and rear camera simultaneously.
Nokia 6 (2018) comes running on Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box, which will surely be upgraded to Oreo. It packs a 3000mAh battery with support for fast charging that can charge the phone up to 50% in 30 minutes.
Nokia 6 (2018) Price and Availability
As of now, the Nokia 6 (2018) has been announced in China, the sale of which will begin from January 10. It has been priced at 1499 yuan (roughly at INR 14,655) for its 32GB variant and 1699 yuan (roughly at INR 16,610) for the 64GB variant. No details about the global roll out yet.
