New Maruti Dzire Features, Mileage & Variants Revealed: Launch on November 11

Earlier today, we discussed the impressive five-star rating that the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire received in the Global NCAP crash tests. As we approach its launch in India on November 11th, more information about Maruti Suzuki’s forthcoming sedan has emerged online. The fourth generation of the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be offered in four variants: LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. Additionally, the vehicle will be available in a selection of seven colors: Bluish Black, Gallant Red, Alluring Blue, Nutmeg Brown, Arctic White, Magma Grey, and Splendid Silver.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Features, Mileage & more

The fourth-generation Dzire features dimensions of 1525mm in height, 1735mm in width, and 3995mm in length. It boasts a wheelbase of 2450mm and a ground clearance of 163mm. The petrol variants offer a storage capacity of 382L, while the boot space for the CNG variant has yet to be disclosed.

 The kerb weight for the petrol model ranges from 920kg to 960kg, with a gross weight of 1375kg. In contrast, the CNG variant has a kerb weight between 1020kg and 1025kg, and its gross weight is 1435kg. Additionally, the CNG versions are equipped with a 55L CNG tank. The vehicle is fitted with 15-inch wheels and 185-section tyres.

The company has addressed inquiries regarding mileage. The new Dzire is equipped with the Z-Series 1.2L 3-cylinder engine, which was introduced with the 4th Generation Swift, replacing the previous 3rd generation Dzire’s 1.2L K-Series 4-cylinder engine.

In the petrol-only variant, this engine generates a peak power of 81.58 PS and a peak torque of 111.7 Nm, available with either a 5-speed manual transmission or an automated manual transmission. In the petrol plus CNG variant, it delivers 69.75 PS of peak power and 101.8 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The fuel efficiency for the Petrol manual variant is 24.79 km/l, while the AMT Petrol versions offer a higher mileage of 25.71 km/l. In terms of the Dzire CNG models, Maruti claims a fuel efficiency of 33.73 km/kg.
