Google has officially launched the Pixel 11 at its Made by Google event, bringing a major camera upgrade to the base Pixel model. The Pixel 11 also gets Google’s new Tensor G6 chip, a thinner camera bar, and several new software features.
Pixel 11 Specifications
The Pixel 11 features a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a 1080 x 2424 resolution and a 60Hz to 120Hz refresh rate. The panel reaches up to 2,000 nits in HDR mode and 3,000 nits of peak brightness, with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The phone is powered by Google’s new Tensor G6 processor, built on a 2nm process, paired with 12GB of RAM. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB, with the 512GB model using Zoned UFS for faster read and write speeds.
The biggest hardware change comes to the main camera. The Pixel 11 has a 48MP 1/1.56-inch f/1.7 sensor with OIS, compared with the Pixel 10’s 48MP 1/2-inch sensor. Google claims the new sensor offers 56% greater light sensitivity.
The 13MP 1/3.1-inch f/2.2 ultrawide (no autofocus) and 10.8MP 1/3.2-inch f/3.1 5X telephoto cameras carry over, with OIS on the telephoto. The 10.5MP f/2.2 selfie camera now adds autofocus.
The camera bar has also been redesigned and is over 40% thinner than the Pixel 10’s. The phone packs a 4,985mAh battery with 30W wired charging and 25W Pixelsnap wireless charging over Qi2.2.
Other specifications include an IP68 rating, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6, and Android 17. Google will provide seven years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates.
The Pixel 11 comes in Frost, Pistachio, Hibiscus, and Obsidian. New software features include Gemini-powered Magic Capture, Camera Looks, and the Rambler voice input tool.
Pixel 11 Price in India
The Pixel 11 starts at ₹89,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant. The 12GB+512GB model costs ₹1,04,999.
The 128GB storage option has been removed, making 256GB the entry-level configuration. Both variants are around ₹10,000 more expensive than the equivalent Pixel 10 configurations.
Pre-orders are now open through the Google Store, with retail sales starting August 20.
The larger main camera sensor is the biggest upgrade on the Pixel 11, addressing the smaller sensor used on the Pixel 10. The higher starting price and unchanged ultrawide, telephoto, and charging specifications make the rest of the upgrade more incremental.
